Undergraduate Law Subjects for Non-Law Students

(Available to CAP students and students from Faculties other than Law)

Business

The following subjects can be taken towards a Bachelor of Commerce degree:

  • Principles of Business Law
  • Corporate Law
  • Banking and Finance Law
  • Taxation Law

Construction Law

See the 2008 list at the bottom of this page. Please note that Construction Law 732-320 is offered to students from the Architecture, Building and Planning Faculty.  The subject Principles of Construction Law 730-493 is offered to Law students as an optional subject within the LLB.  For further details, please contact Matthew Bell (Lecturer and Co-Director of Studies for Construction Law).

Breadth Subjects

The subjects listed below can be taken as individual breadth subjects subject to any pre-requisite requirements.  All three can be taken to form a breadth sequence in Law. 

  • Principles of Business Law
  • Corporate Law
  • Taxation Law*

*Taxation Law will not be offered as a breadth subject until 2009.

Students should consult their home faculty regarding approval to undertake these subjects.
