Substantial Piece of Legal Writing 2010

Important Information for 2009

Year of Offering of Compulsory and Quasi-Compulsory Subjects in 2008 to 2011

A list of subjects for the LLB program in 2010 is available.

List of subjects in 2009:

Please note that the Faculty reserves the right not to offer a subject in a particular year or in a particular semester if a sufficient enrolment is not obtained or appropriate staff are not available.

The Law School will make arrangements for students who have not completed the subjects Dispute Resolution and Constitutional Law (subject to University Statute 11.5 Unsatisfactory Progress) to complete these subjects in 2009.  Students in this situation are encouraged to speak with a Student Advisor in the Melbourne Law School Student Centre.  Telephone 8344 4475 to book an appointment with a Student Advisor.

As the current University student system does not formally recognise a winter 'semester', subjects offered in the winter recess are recorded on student records as either Semester 1 or Semester 2.  Those with a teaching commencement date of 30 June or earlier will be linked to semester 1 and those with a teaching commencement date of 1 July or later will be linked to Semester 2.

Admission to legal practice subjects for pre-2006 students.
