2010 Subjects

This list of subjects is being made available to enable students to plan their courses over the next couple of years. You should note that there are 50 options that we hope to offer in 2010. This compares with 47 in 2009. You should also note that there are a number of new optional subjects on offer and that there are a number of offerings in summer and winter. We will continue to strive to offer a full and varied LLB optional program each year.

The list of optional subjects is provided on the basis that it may need to change to accommodate non-availability of teaching staff or some unforseen circumstance.

We are aware that the semester of offer of optional subjects may not suit everyone but have done our best to ensure that the program meets the needs of a variety of student interests.

As the current University student system does not formally recognise a winter 'semester', subjects offered in the winter recess are recorded on student records as either Semester 1 or Semester 2.  Those with a teaching commencement date of 30 June or earlier will be linked to semester 1 and those with a teaching commencement date of 1 July or later will be linked to Semester 2.
