The LLB program is pleased to provide a range of support options for students who wish to further develop their academic skills for studying law.

The Language and Academic Skills Adviser, Dr Anthony McCosker, can help you to develop your legal writing and communication skills and provide strategies for study, time and task management.

Language and Academic Skills Resources

• A range of online and print resources that you can access to develop your language and academic skills
• For a comprehensive guide to academic writing in law, with annotated samples of research essays, hypothetical problem answers and case notes, log on to Legal Academic Writing Resources (L.A.W.).

Individual Language and Academic Skills Consultations

• Consultations are available to all students and will be most beneficial for ESL and international students.
