Current Students

Approximately 2,000 students are enrolled in the Melbourne LLB, of whom 88% are studying law in combination with another degree. Each year at Melbourne Law School we welcome students from all over the world, who contribute to the wonderful cultural mix in our academic and social life. The Law School strongly encourages its students to undertake language studies and to consider exchange options at selected international universities, in order to experience a global education. The University has formal exchange agreements with more than 100 leading institutions in over 20 countries around the world.

I chose to study law at the University of Melbourne because it has one of the best law faculties in the world.

While studying is important, extra-curricular activities are also an essential aspect of university life. At present, I am a violist with the University of Melbourne Orchestra. In my first two years of study in Melbourne, I was selected to represent Singapore in the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra.
