Prerequisites: History and Philosophy of Law I, History and Philosophy of Law II, Torts and the Process of Law I, Torts and the Process of Law II

Description

Topics include the nature of contractual obligation; the place of contract within private law; contract theory and critique; formation (agreement, consideration, intention to create legal relations, certainty, formalities); estoppel; privity; the content of a contract (express terms, implied terms, construction of terms, the use of extrinsic evidence).
